Welcome to the Visual Arts webpage at Hinesburg Community School. Our students are making lots of imaginative and fabulous art work! Be sure to take a look at the walls as you walk up the main hallway. Hinesburg Community School proudly presents: Vincent van Gogh's "The Starry Night" This beautiful bottle cap mural was created by students in grades K-8. The collective project involved help from the community collecting bottle caps of all shapes and colors. The classes in kindergarten through fourth grade sorted the bottle caps by color. Next the seventh and eighth grade painted the design onto the boards. Finally, groups of students from grades three through eight glued the bottle caps into place. What a wonderful way to recycle! |
